Mr. Bader leads the academic programme, pastoral care, and careers programme, driving the school's vision and ensuring every decision aligns with its mission. He is also responsible for the school's academic development, ensuring its curriculum and teaching approaches are continuously and responsibly adapted to remain at the forefront of education and to best serve the needs of each individual student. His approach is grounded in the belief that IS OWL should function as a true learning organisation — one that recognises how innovative, adaptable 21st-century education demands a growth mindset and the flexibility to thrive in an ever-changing world, while remaining a reliable and consistent foundation for every student. This balance between adaptability and dependability ensures that each student benefits from the best possible, individualised educational pathway, no matter how the landscape of education continues to evolve. 

Mrs. Effertz oversees the operational and financial management of IS OWL, ensuring the school has the resources, systems, and structures in place for the academic and pastoral community to thrive. She is responsible for financial planning and budgeting, facilities management, HR administration, and health and safety compliance, ensuring that all operational aspects of the school run smoothly and efficiently. Her work ensures that every decision is underpinned by sound and sustainable financial and operational foundations, allowing the pedagogical leader to remain focused on delivering the best possible educational experience for every student. 

Ms. Neumann manages all aspects of IS OWL's external examination programme, including coordination with Pearson Edexcel, candidate registration, and results administration. Her meticulous approach ensures that every student's examination experience is handled with accuracy and care. She is often the first point of contact for exam-related queries from students and families. Beyond her examination responsibilities, Ms. Neumann serves as a vital link between the school and its boarding house, coordinates facility maintenance and repairs, and handles parent requests with care and efficiency. She also plays a key role in communicating school events to the wider community — and much more — making her a vital part of our daily operations. 

Mrs. Booth serves as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors entering the school, creating a welcoming and organised environment from the moment anyone walks through the door. She plays a central role in student well-being by monitoring attendance, managing illness reports, and ensuring students receive the support and guidance they need throughout the school day. She handles a wide range of student communications, including timetable queries, event information, and general requests, ensuring that students are always informed and well looked after. She works in close liaison with the boarding team, coordinating appointments, managing absences, and maintaining clear lines of communication to support the pastoral care of residential students. In addition to her front desk responsibilities, she manages a broad range of administrative tasks, including the preparation of student documentation for visa renewals and applications, maintaining accurate student records, handling incoming calls and emails, and supporting the wider school office with day-to-day operations.

Their role includes responding to enquiries and conducting initial consultations, advising families on our A-Level and German language pathway and its fit for each student, coordinating entrance assessments and placement testing, and managing application documents and admissions decisions. They liaise closely with the school leadership and administration team to ensure a smooth transition, support families with enrolment contracts and fee arrangements, and provide guidance on visa, immigration, and relocation matters.
